Although renewable generators are often the most cost-effective alternative to diesel and CHP plants, they have a significant drawback: wind and solar power cannot supply electricity without wind or sunlight. This is where the battery storage system offers a simple solution. If more energy is generated than needed, it is stored in the batteries. When more energy is needed than what solar power can supply, the storage system activates and provides continuous power.
